TO BE A WINNER BE DEAF TO NEGATIVITY
Revisited, 7th September 2025. On 5th
September some of my old students wished me “Happy Teachers Day.” It was quite
a moment when your students remember you even though you are not with them. Today
as I was just scrolling past my old posts and found this post which I specifically
made for them. This post first appeared during covid times a time of noise and
uncertainty. When there was chaos everywhere and my students were seeking
advice what to do and not to do in this chaos. So I made this post for them.
Today when I saw this post, I return to it not to rewrite, but to reattune. The
insight remains the same: to win is to listen selectively. What follows is just a reflection on clarity,
presence, and the quiet strength of choosing what not to echo.
Sometimes, the message doesn’t change—but the way we
carry it deepens.
🧭 Revised Article: To Be a Winner, Be Selectively
Deaf

Clarity
isn’t loud. It’s chosen.
There’s a kind of silence that isn’t passive—it’s
rather protective. In a world tuned to commentary,
criticism, and unsolicited advice, the ability to listen selectively is a quiet
superpower. To win—not just in metrics or milestones, but in presence—one must
learn when to turn the volume down, when to listen to the chaos of the world
and when not to.
🎯
The Original Insight Still Holds
The phrase “Be deaf to negativity” isn’t about denial.
It’s about discernment. Not every voice deserves a seat at your creative table
or your personal life. Not every algorithmic dip or external judgment warrants
a rewrite of your worth.
🧘♀️ Attunement Over Approval
Winning, in its truest form, is the refusal to echo
what doesn’t serve. It’s the choice to stay attuned to your own rhythm—even
when the world demands performance. Whether you're crafting a festival post,
rewriting a Chunmun story, or simply pausing to breathe, your clarity is the
compass.
🔄
From External Noise to Inner Signal
Negativity often arrives dressed as “feedback.” But
not all feedback is relational. Some is reactive, algorithmic, or misattuned.
The real victory lies in knowing the difference—and choosing presence over
reaction.
🌈 Most of the times when
we want to pursue our dreams, there are blockages. Blockages in the form of negativity,
that is being thrusted upon us by the people who surround us. It is in the form
of negative opinion about us or our dreams. So during that time what should we
do…..
Answer lies in this
video…..
