To this my mom reacted that these days people do not celebrate “April Fools Day” as they use to celebrate earlier.   20 TH MARCH – INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS  | Dr. Geetanjali Pareek    Every year “International Day of Happiness” is celebrated throughout the world on 20 March. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28 June 2012 , with the aims to make people around the world realize the importance of happiness within their lives.   Why 20 March? On this date, the centre of the sun is directly above the Earth's equator, which is called an equinox. On the equinox, day and night are almost equal all over the Earth. Since equinox is felt by everyone on the planet, it perfectly matches with the idea behind the Day of Happiness. Since 2013, the Day of Happiness has been celebrated in all 193 United Nations member states.   How did the idea come into being?
